About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12-week program during Summer 2027. You will support fixed asset accounting and capital project activities at our facility in Leeds, Alabama. This role focuses on a 60,000-square-foot facility expansion, where you will help integrate new equipment into our asset management system.
What you'll do#
- Ensure assets are documented, tagged, photographed, and maintained in company records.
- Support audit readiness, capitalization requirements, and asset tracking accuracy.
- Gain experience in fixed asset management, compliance, and process improvement.
- Apply classroom knowledge to projects and work independently on multiple tasks.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams.
- Provide a final presentation to the local management team.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university for the duration of the program (May-August 2027).
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
