About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain corporate experience while working on new product development. You will focus on projects such as a D-line monitoring system or other connector offerings. The program lasts 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in Manchester, New Hampshire.
What you'll do#
- Support new product development and collaborate with engineering and product teams on customer concerns.
- Apply classroom knowledge to practical, value-added projects.
- Develop technical skills specific to your major while assisting with process improvement.
- Manage multiple overlapping projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Gain industry exposure through plant visits and training on utilities and the power utility value chain.
- Build professional relationships across the business and provide a final presentation to the local management team.
- Provide support and assistance to co-workers.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with power systems, utilities, electrical engineering, or physics.
- Interest in innovation, grid modernization, and sustainability.
- Preferred experience includes coding, CAD, 3D printing, or robotics.

- Compensation: $22.50 to $29.00 per hour, based on academic standing and graduation date.
