About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in project management within the utility technology sector. You will support the planning and execution of Advanced Metering Infrastructure projects while gaining exposure to real-world project delivery. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Solon, Ohio, for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of Advanced Metering Infrastructure projects.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Provide support to co-workers as needed.
- Build planning and organizational skills through practical, value-added assignments.
- Present project outcomes to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Electrical, Civil, Computer, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong interest in technology and project management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
