About the role#
The Strategy Intern joins the Print Strategy team to work with experienced consultants. You will support HP Consumer Print by performing strategic diligence on market entry, macroeconomic trends, and innovation. This role is intended for conversion to a full-time position. Please note that HP does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this role, including CPT or OPT.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on markets, competitors, and strategic topics.
- Evaluate growth areas and market-entry opportunities.
- Analyze consumer behavior and macroeconomic trends.
- Assess emerging technologies and future innovation.
- Build financial and market models using Excel.
- Create presentations and strategy deliverables for executives.
- Synthesize complex findings into clear recommendations.
- Collaborate with strategy leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Present conclusions and evidence to business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Full-time enrollment status at an accredited university.
- Less than 24 months of prior professional work experience related to this role.
- Ability to work in the United States in 2027 without requiring sponsorship.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
- Experience with market research and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with market sizing, competitive assessments, and business-case development is preferred.
- Knowledge of consumer technology or printing markets is a plus.
