About the role#
This internship is a 12-week paid program scheduled for Summer 2027. You will join the Technology and Innovation Organization to work on hardware and firmware projects. This role is intended to lead to full-time employment, though it does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future.
What you'll do#
- Write and develop UEFI and BIOS code for HP Workstations.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Collect and prepare training data for AI models.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your 3rd year of university or 1st year of a Master's program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science.
- Less than 24 months of professional work experience related to this role.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the United States by 2027 without company sponsorship.
- Technical proficiency in circuit analysis, analog and digital electronics, and PCB design.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and digital logic.
