About the role#
Join the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) team for a 12-week summer internship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will work on projects that strengthen our compliance program and the tools employees use to understand our standards. This role provides practical experience in how a corporate ethics function operates, including how it interacts with Human Resources, Legal, Information Security, Internal Audit, and Finance.
What you'll do#
- Support core compliance processes, policy updates, and awareness initiatives.
- Assist with reviewing and updating internal policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve training and communication materials.
- Contribute to work regarding the company reporting hotline and investigations process.
- Support initiatives related to third-party risk management, conflicts of interest, and anti-corruption.
- Help manage compliance expectations regarding gifts, hospitality, and travel.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s degree program with an interest in pre-law, or current enrollment in a JD program.
- Anticipated graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience through internships, work, research, or extracurriculars.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across disciplines.
- Interest in understanding how corporate compliance functions operate.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available).
