About the role#
As a Client Services Intern, you will support the daily operations of our service team. You will assist with policy management, customer inquiries, and administrative tasks. Working with both the sales and service teams, you will develop an understanding of the full customer lifecycle. This role is for those pursuing a career in insurance, risk management, or customer service.
What you'll do#
- Support account managers with renewals, endorsements, and client communications.
- Research industry trends, target sectors, and competitors.
- Shadow sales agents and attend client meetings or calls.
- Help process claims and learn the claims lifecycle.
- Update records and generate reports using agency management software.
- Learn and apply compliance requirements to ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist with marketing projects like creating promotional materials or drafting newsletters.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Interest in commercial insurance, risk assessment, or financial services.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in technology.

- Locations: Houston, TX or Carrollton, TX.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027 to July 30, 2027).
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Compensation: $21 per hour.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
