About the role#
The Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) Project Engineer Intern assists the project team with coordination and planning. You will support the integration of OSM applications with site logistics, subcontractors, manufacturers, and field inspections. This role involves working on quality control, schedule management, estimating, BIM/VDC, and document control.
What you'll do#
- Interpret design and construction documents, technical manuals, and material quantities.
- Write and publish meeting minutes, schedule graphs, and activity checklists.
- Review and process submittal information to ensure component accuracy.
- Generate, receive, and distribute requests for information (RFI) and change documents.
- Perform field survey layouts of control lines and benchmarks.
- Serve as a technical advisor at the site field office.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery and integration of modular solutions.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or GED.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6.
- Experience with design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Knowledge of the CSI specification system and construction document reading.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a cooperative attitude.
- Strong time-management, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with trade and craft personnel in the field.
