About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to join the HVDC Systems Design team in Saint-Laurent. You will work alongside experienced engineers to support system performance and modeling initiatives. This position is a full-time, six-month role starting August 3, 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support the system performance and models team by conducting RMS and EMT studies.
- Attend project meetings and present specific aspects of your engineering assignments.
- Uphold core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and supporting your colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A strong passion for Electric Power Engineering.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- Readiness to work in an international and multicultural environment.
- Previous experience with high voltage equipment, electrical schematics, and RMS/EMT modeling is considered an asset.
