About the role#
The ITV Intern will join the team to support the development of software and tools for train control systems. This position involves direct involvement in design, analysis, scripting, and testing activities. This is a full-time, paid internship with a duration of 12 to 16 months, beginning in September 2026.
What you'll do#
- Perform integration and test activities in-house according to the established test plan.
- Develop, execute, and monitor test scripts while identifying test objectives and test cases.
- Prepare test reports to document pass or fail status and track defects.
- Investigate test anomalies by analyzing data files and design documentation.
- Develop reusable libraries and promote best practices for test development.
- Provide feedback on test automation frameworks to support continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with team members and development departments to ensure project success.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Cybersecurity program.
- Proven experience in automated testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to contribute new ideas for automation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Enthusiasm for taking on new technical challenges.
