About the role#
The Underwriting Undergraduate Internship for Summer 2027 offers students hands-on experience in a healthcare and insurance environment. You will work with the Labor & Education Underwriting Team to gain exposure to underwriting principles, risk assessment, and financial analysis. This program aims to develop business professionals through mentorship and project-based learning.
What you'll do#
- Support underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation.
- Assist with new business and renewal underwriting activities.
- Analyze financial and business data to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
- Participate in projects to improve underwriting tools and processes.
- Conduct research and prepare reports, including recommendations or proposals for action.
- Support client reporting activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to work in the U.S. independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
