About the role#
The UCD Business PMO Undergraduate Internship offers students hands-on experience supporting strategic business, automation, and artificial intelligence initiatives. You will work within the Project Management Office to gain exposure to project management, process improvement, and digital transformation efforts. This role focuses on developing your technical and analytical skills through mentorship and direct participation in enterprise projects.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to a high-impact summer project within the Automation and Artificial Intelligence portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline existing business processes.
- Assist with project planning, coordination, and the implementation of new solutions.
- Translate and convert existing SAS programs into modern analytics languages like R and Python.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support business intelligence and decision-making.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations that drive operational efficiency.
- Participate in AI use case development and automation-related projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program, either full-time or part-time.
- Progress toward a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Project Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work in the U.S. independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
