About the role#
The Summer 2027 Reimbursement Analyst Undergraduate Internship offers practical experience in healthcare payer reimbursement structures and operational processes. You will work alongside reimbursement professionals to understand how financial decisions impact provider relationships, cost management, and business performance. This role provides exposure to fee schedule modeling, value-based reimbursement, and strategic business initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Provide support for the day-to-day operating objectives of the Reimbursement Strategy team.
- Conduct research and analysis to support informed business decision-making.
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on your findings.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of department projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gain insight into healthcare finance and actuarial services.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
- Pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and internal teams.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
