About the role#
This internship provides practical experience within the HM Insurance Group. You will gain direct exposure to business operations, receive hands-on training, and work with senior personnel to develop professional skills. The program prepares participants for future business roles through mentorship and project work.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day operating objectives within your assigned area.
- Conduct research and prepare reports, including recommendations or proposals for action.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of unit projects and initiatives.
- Communicate with colleagues and clientele to resolve operational problems.
- Undertake related studies or enrichment programs as needed.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program, either full-time or part-time.
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.

- This is an on-site position located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
- The internship takes place during the Summer 2027 term.
- This is a paid, part-time opportunity.
