About the role#
The Marketing & Content Intern supports the Adventureland team by managing our digital presence and assisting with marketing initiatives. This role involves creating content, maintaining the park website, and engaging with guests across multiple channels. You will work in an office setting with frequent interaction across our outdoor park locations.
What you'll do#
- Produce and manage content for all social media channels.
- Design media for in-park signage, email, social, and print assets.
- Update and maintain the Adventureland website for accuracy.
- Assist with B2C and B2B email marketing campaigns.
- Collect and analyze guest demographic data and revenue trends.
- Lead special projects related to marketing, sales, and content creation.
- Engage directly with guests on owned and shared channels.
- Respond to guest feedback with professionalism.
- Ensure brand voice consistency across all platforms.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least six months of experience in content, social media, or digital marketing.
- Previous experience creating content for a brand.
- Technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing.
- Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift or carry objects weighing 20 pounds or more.
- Experience in an amusement, theme, or waterpark is a plus.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus.
- Photography skills are a plus.
