About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern, you will work with engineers and supply chain managers to source and develop medium-voltage power electronics. This role provides hands-on experience with hardware and contributes to product development. You will gain insight into strategic sourcing, vendor quality, and the manufacturing of energy systems.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and sourcing of advanced power conversion systems.
- Prepare and analyze RFI, RFP, and RFQ documents to assist in vendor selection.
- Work with senior engineers to translate product requirements into operational needs.
- Build should-cost models and conduct cost optimization analyses.
- Contribute to vendor negotiations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Understanding of supplier selection and management practices.
- Familiarity with purchasing processes, manufacturing methods, ERP systems, and supplier quality management tools.
