About the role#
Hermeus is seeking Manufacturing Engineering Interns to join our team in Atlanta. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of supersonic aircraft through an iterative design and build process.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside experienced engineers to participate in the design, build, and test phases of hardware for supersonic aircraft.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to troubleshoot technical challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a STEM program at an accredited college or university (third or fourth-year undergraduate, or a Master's or Ph.D. student).
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through internships, academic studies, or projects.
- A strong understanding of engineering first principles and a keen interest in vehicle hardware.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Enthusiasm for aviation and the Hermeus mission.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia (On-site).
- Terms: Winter 2026 (January–April) and Summer 2026 (May–August).
- Status: Paid, full-time internship.
- Eligibility: This position requires access to information subject to U.S. export controls; candidates must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62.
