About the role#
This BCBA Fellowship provides paid supervision hours through a structured clinical program. Fellows work one-on-one with clients using ABA interventions to teach communication, daily living skills, and positive behaviors. You will complete unrestricted activities as defined by the BACB to help meet the requirements to sit for the BCBA exam. This is a full-time, on-site role with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients through social interaction.
- Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
- Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.
- Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs.
- Conduct behavior-analytic assessments including functional analyses and stimulus preference assessments.
- Work with a BCBA mentor on guided practice of the BCBA role.
- Research relevant literature and write or revise behavior-analytic programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification program.
- Your program must have a BACB reported exam pass rate of 60% or higher for 3 consecutive years or hold ABAI/APBA accreditation.
- Ability to pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
- Must be an active RBT for 60 days with Helping Hands Family.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
