About the role#
Heidelberg Materials offers an internship program for students to gain hands-on experience in the building materials industry. You will receive mentorship from professionals and contribute to real projects while working with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes and digital workflows.
- Assist with configuring, testing, and maintaining business applications and systems.
- Gather and organize business requirements from stakeholders across various functions.
- Create and update system documentation, process maps, and user guides.
- Support data collection, validation, reporting, and dashboard development.
- Participate in system testing, troubleshooting, and user acceptance activities.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve user experience and operational efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in digital technologies, business systems, and process improvement.
- Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and solve problems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
