About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the building materials industry. You will work on-site at a quarry or aggregate site, participating in project work while learning how different departments function together. This role is intended to help you develop skills for potential future leadership or trainee positions.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to real-world projects in the field.
- Partner with engineers, managers, and production staff to help the plant meet its operational goals.
- Complete specific technical projects to learn about quarry and aggregate site operations.
- Gain an understanding of the production, maintenance, and quality departments.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a junior or senior working toward a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- You have strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
- You can manage multiple projects at once and motivate team members.
- You possess clear written and verbal communication skills.

- You demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to the company.
