About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in vulnerability management. You will work alongside technical and business teams to support organizational objectives while developing your skills in cybersecurity. You will receive guidance from a mentor and manager throughout the program and present your final project to department leadership.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to project work and analyze information to help develop solutions.
- Apply company processes, programs, and technologies to real business tasks.
- Own specific components of project deliverables.
- Conduct research and develop recommendations based on your data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support departmental initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies, including HIPAA and corporate integrity standards.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or Management Information Systems.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and virtual collaboration tools.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A strong interest in cybersecurity, hacking, and investigations.
- Participation in Capture the Flag, hacking competitions, or IT-related organizations is a plus.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Richardson, Texas.
- The work modality is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
- You must be available for the full 10-week duration of the program.
