About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship based in Chicago. You will participate in a formal program designed to build your business and industry knowledge through hands-on project work, networking, and professional development workshops. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to support business objectives and member-focused solutions while gaining experience with our internal processes and technologies.
What you'll do#
- Own specific components of project work and deliverables with guidance from a manager or mentor.
- Research and analyze data to develop recommendations that inform business decisions.
- Assist project managers with project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Coordinate meetings by preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking action items.
- Manage financials and resources using our Project Portfolio Management software.
- Collaborate on departmental initiatives to improve business outcomes.
- Deliver a final presentation to department leadership regarding your project results.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and corporate integrity policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising senior.
- Major in project management, computer science, IT, or business (other majors are considered).
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to commit to the full 10-week program duration.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Prior internship, leadership, or project coordination experience is a plus.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: The base pay range is $19.13 to $34.17 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
