About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on cybersecurity operations. You will join our formal program to gain hands-on experience while supporting business objectives. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to analyze information and develop solutions for real organizational needs.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to project work and take ownership of specific deliverables with guidance from a mentor and manager.
- Research and analyze data to develop recommendations for business decisions.
- Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization.
- Present your final project, results, and recommendations to department leadership.
- Maintain business confidentiality and follow all compliance policies, including HIPAA and Corporate Integrity standards.
- Participate in orientation, professional development workshops, networking events, and volunteer activities.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, management information systems, information technology, information security, or computer science. Other majors are considered.
- Your expected graduation date is between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- You have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
- You are available for the full 10-week duration of the program.
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- You communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats.
- You are comfortable using Office 365 and virtual collaboration tools.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript is a plus.
- Interest in cybersecurity, computer hacking, and cyber investigations is preferred.

- This role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The position is hybrid, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The base pay range for this role is $19.13 to $34.17 per hour.
