About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in the health care industry. You will participate in a formal program that includes orientation, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to support business objectives and member-focused solutions while learning internal processes and technologies.
What you'll do#
- Own specific components of project work with guidance from a manager and mentor.
- Conduct research and analyze data to develop recommendations for business decisions.
- Support departmental initiatives to improve business outcomes and the member experience.
- Collaborate with teams across both business and technical areas.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation to department leadership regarding your project results.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all company policies, including HIPAA and Corporate Integrity standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program, specifically a rising senior status.
- Major in business, data analytics, information technology, information systems, or computer science.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Ability to commit to the full 10-week duration of the program.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and virtual collaboration tools.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Prior technical internship or leadership experience is a plus.

- Locations: Chicago, Illinois and Downers Grove, Illinois.
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum of three days per week in the office).
