About the role#
As an IT QA Intern, you will participate in a 10-week program designed to provide hands-on experience within a healthcare environment. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to contribute to project deliverables, analyze data, and support solutions that meet business needs. This role focuses on applying technical knowledge to real-world tasks while developing professional skills through mentorship and project ownership.
What you'll do#
- Own specific components of project work and deliverables with guidance from a manager and mentor.
- Research and analyze data to develop recommendations that inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support departmental initiatives.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation to department leadership regarding your project results.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, and corporate integrity policies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with rising senior status.
- Major in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, project management, or computer science.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Available for the full 10-week program duration.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Interest in the healthcare payer industry or starting a career in IT.
- Prior technical internship, leadership experience, or participation in IT associations is a plus.

- Location: Downers Grove, Illinois.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $19.13 - $34.17 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
