About the role#
HDR is seeking a Software Development Intern to join the team in Omaha. This is a paid, full-time internship that operates on a rolling basis. You will work on-site to support our technical teams and contribute to our employee-owned culture.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the technical team to support and maintain development efforts.
- Assist in developing, testing, and implementing system enhancements, customizations, and integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Document technical processes, configurations, and system changes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- A willingness to learn from experienced professionals and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with PL/SQL, Java, or Python is helpful.
- An active commitment to participating in our employee-owned culture.
