About the role#
Harbor Group Management Company is hiring a Legal Intern for a 10-week summer program in New York. This paid position provides exposure to real estate investment and corporate legal matters. You will work within our in-house legal department to support our transactions and asset management teams.
What you'll do#
- Support real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financings.
- Review and draft non-disclosure agreements, corporate governance documents, and vendor contracts.
- Coordinate with internal departments like Transactions, Asset Management, and Human Resources.
- Complete a special project and deliver a final presentation to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your first or second year of law school.
- At least one year of customer service work experience.
- Proficiency with computers and strong communication skills.
- Professionalism regarding work quality, attendance, and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
