About the role#
Harbinger is building the next generation of medium-duty electric vehicles. We are looking for a Marketing Intern focused on Events to support our growing presence at trade shows, ride-and-drives, dealer events, and industry conferences. You will work closely with the Event Marketing Manager and the broader marketing team to bring events to life from initial planning through on-site execution.
This is a hands-on, collaborative role. You will coordinate across many moving pieces and work with teams including Sales, Engineering, Service, and Operations to ensure event details come together. You will gain experience executing B2B events while contributing to programs that support our brand and sales pipeline.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of trade shows, vehicle demonstrations, and other company activations.
- Maintain event timelines, checklists, and deliverable trackers to keep projects on schedule.
- Coordinate event materials such as signage, booth graphics, brochures, giveaways, and presentations.
- Manage event logistics, including shipping, inventory, vehicle coordination, registration, and staffing plans.
- Assist with on-site setup, event execution, booth organization, and breakdown.
- Capture photos, videos, and customer feedback from events.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and coordinate with agencies, vendors, and venues.
- Manage updates to company websites and internal dealer resources.
- Draft or refine event-related social media copy and communications.
- Review event assets to ensure consistency with brand standards.
- Prepare internal event briefs, schedules, and staffing information.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented with the ability to track multiple deadlines at once.
- Strong follow-through and a proactive approach to communication.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Comfort with hands-on event work, including physical setup and logistics.
Location & details#
- Location: Garden Grove, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (4 days per week in-office).
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: $25-35 USD per hour.
- Relocation: A $1,000 stipend is available for those residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
