About the role#
Halff is hiring an intern for the Transportation team in Oklahoma City. You will work on roadway and highway design projects for state, city, and county clients. This is a full-time, paid internship running from June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
- Assist with CAD drafting work.
- Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
- Prepare permit applications and regulatory documents.
- Coordinate with team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or an ABET-accredited equivalent.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work well within a team.
- Self-motivated work ethic.
Location & details#
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8a-5p.
- Note: Housing is not provided for this internship.
