About the role#
The Structural Stress Engineering team substantiates the integrity of new product development and production designs. As a Collegiate Associate Intern, you will work alongside professionals to apply your academic background to real-world aerospace challenges.
What you'll do#
- Perform detailed structural analyses for new product development and production design.
- Conduct static and fatigue testing on components, assemblies, and full-scale aircraft.
- Carry out stress analysis and fatigue and damage tolerance evaluations.
- Review engineering drawings to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
- Write technical reports to demonstrate compliance with FAA standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Aerospace, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, unrounded and listed on your resume.
- Status as a full-time student at the time of application.
- Reliable transportation.

- This position is based on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
- The internship takes place during the Summer 2027 semester.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
