About the role#
As a Flight Sciences / Thermofluid Analysis Intern, you will work on thermal modeling and fluid systems performance. This role involves developing techniques to improve aircraft system design and building numerical simulations to predict environmental conditions. You will gain experience with FAR Part 25 regulations and advanced simulation methods while working on real projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
What you'll do#
- Build numerical simulations to predict environmental conditions throughout the aircraft.
- Perform thermal modeling and fluid systems performance analysis.
- Predict the performance of pneumatic, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
- Analyze test data to support certification efforts.
- Ensure that aircraft equipment stays within acceptable temperature and ventilation limits.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year before the internship begins.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

- This position is based on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
- The internship term is Winter 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
