About the role#
The Software and Performance Products team in Flight Sciences manages software verification and validation activities for Gulfstream aircraft. You will join a team of engineers working on software for complex performance calculations and verifying control law software used by our customers. This internship offers the chance to apply classroom knowledge to real-world aviation challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support software development projects within the Flight Sciences department.
- Conduct software verification and validation activities.
- Develop software for complex performance calculations.
- Verify control law software.
- Assist with resource planning and allocation using tools like MS Project.
- Perform data analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Major in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Completion of your sophomore year prior to the start date.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Reliable transportation.
