About the role#
The Propulsion Analysis team develops and maintains the analytical methods used to predict and optimize aircraft propulsion system performance. As an intern, you will work with experienced technical leaders to evaluate engine behavior, perform trade studies, and support aircraft design projects. You will gain hands-on experience in engine cycle analysis, propulsion system modeling, and performance evaluation.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and maintenance of engine cycle simulation models.
- Perform off-design engine performance analyses and trade studies.
- Analyze engine and aircraft performance data.
- Support studies related to fuel consumption, thrust performance, operability, and mission analysis.
- Assist with the validation of analytical models using test or flight data.
- Document methods, assumptions, and analysis results for engineering use.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of sophomore year prior to the start date.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (must be listed on your resume).
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with numerical modeling and simulation techniques.
- Interest in aircraft propulsion systems, gas turbine engines, and performance modeling.
- Experience with coding or automation tools.
- Ability to interpret engineering data and communicate results effectively.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

- Location: Savannah, Georgia.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- Reliable transportation is required.
