About the role#
As an Asset Management Summer Analyst, you will help maximize portfolio performance by analyzing property and financial data. You will support budgeting and forecasting activities while evaluating operational trends across multifamily assets. This role provides exposure to both asset management and property management functions. You will work with experienced professionals to make data-driven recommendations that support investment performance and business objectives.
What you'll do#
- Analyze financial, operational, and market data to support portfolio performance evaluations.
- Assist in preparing client-facing reports, portfolio reviews, and property performance presentations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across multifamily assets.
- Review revenue, expense, occupancy, and rent trends to identify opportunities and risks.
- Conduct market research and competitive analyses to support due diligence and strategic decision-making.
- Assist in evaluating property performance against budgets and key financial benchmarks.
- Partner with asset management and property management teams to support operational and financial initiatives.
- Complete a capstone project and present findings to team leaders at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, real estate, business, economics, or a related field.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Strong desire to learn about real estate investment and asset management.
- Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Foundational Excel and financial modeling skills are preferred.
