About the role#
As an Analytics Engineering Intern on the Decision Intelligence team, you will work alongside analysts and engineers to solve business problems using data. You will own a scoped project from start to finish, gaining hands-on experience with modern analytics tools, AI-assisted development, and real-world data. This is a full-time, paid summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Partner with business teams to understand their goals and data needs.
- Build and validate data models using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
- Use AI coding assistants as part of your day-to-day workflow.
- Analyze data, identify quality issues, and develop practical solutions.
- Test, document, and improve your work based on feedback.
- Present your final project and recommendations to business and Decision Intelligence leaders.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Experience with SQL and Python through coursework, projects, or previous internships.
- Exposure to data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Interest in using AI tools to support technical and analytical work.
- Strong communication, curiosity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly, ask thoughtful questions, and take ownership of your work.
