About the role#
Greenberg Traurig is hiring an Intern for our Government Law and Policy Team in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position. You will support our team by conducting research, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with advocacy strategies.
What you'll do#
- Research legislative issues, bills, and policy proposals.
- Monitor the progress of legislation and committee hearings.
- Assist in the development of advocacy strategies.
- Perform administrative tasks, including coordinating meetings and preparing agendas.
- Draft memos, letters, and emails.
- Help manage client relationships and coordinate business development initiatives.
- Organize client-focused events and fundraisers.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, though equivalent work experience is acceptable.
- Proficiency with Windows software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A basic understanding of artificial intelligence, including data privacy and ethical considerations.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Majors in Political Science, Public Health, Business Administration, or Communications are relevant to this role.
