About the role#
The Tax Technology team at Grant Thornton works with large, complex organizations to improve how tax departments operate. You will help implement scalable technology solutions and drive process improvements, focusing on automating and streamlining calculation, compliance, and reporting activities to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.
What you'll do#
- Support clients in streamlining data collection and implementing workflow automation.
- Enhance tax data management processes.
- Integrate emerging technologies, such as AI, to solve complex tax challenges.
- Assist with the design, configuration, and integration of tax engines for direct and indirect taxes.
- Work with enterprise systems, data automation tools, and visualization platforms.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or Statistics.
- General business knowledge with a strong preference for an Accounting major or minor.
- Minimum overall and major GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
- Familiarity with small-automation and reporting tools such as Alteryx, MSFT Power Platform, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with system infrastructure and application design.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
