Tax Intern

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation procedures. You will work directly alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of the engagement team. This role provides an opportunity to develop new technical skillsets, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships within the firm.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Work collaboratively with client team members to build rapport and strong client relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities.
• Engage in a variety of client assignments across different industries.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Term: Summer 2027.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at an office or client site).
• Compensation: $42.50 per hour.
• Employment Type: Full-time internship.
