Tax Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Summer 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, gaining hands-on experience with tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers across a variety of client industries.

What you'll do#

• Review data input and identify or resolve technical tax issues.
• Assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.

• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
