Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern during the Winter 2027 term, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work directly with partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role provides an opportunity to develop new technical skillsets, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm's international teams.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and firm community activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability in project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment, travel on short notice, and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

• Location: Jacksonville, Florida.
• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Employment Type: Full-time internship.
