About the role#
As a Tax Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain exposure to tax procedures, including tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, contributing to tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various client engagements.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues, providing information to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
- Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites on short notice.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
