About the role#
During this internship, you will gain exposure to tax procedures, including consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, participating in tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various projects and industries.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
- Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites on short notice.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Location & details#
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Work Modality: This position follows a hybrid model requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
- Compensation: $37.00 per hour.
