Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team. This role involves tax research, tax planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various client engagements across multiple industries.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm's international teams.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess tax issues while providing findings to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and firm activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Modality: This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site.
