Audit & Assurance Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As an Audit & Assurance Intern, you will gain exposure to core audit procedures across various business areas, including cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payrolls, and expense analysis. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team. This role offers the opportunity to develop new skillsets, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships within the firm.

What you'll do#

• Review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses.
• Research audit issues using electronic databases and track financial information using specialized audit software.
• Identify and assess audit-related issues and communicate findings to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises, networking opportunities, and professional development discussions with mentors.
• Work on a variety of client engagements across different industries.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites on short notice and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
