Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of our engagement teams. This role provides opportunities to conduct tax research, assist with tax planning, and prepare supporting work papers for various client projects.

What you'll do#

• Review data input and identify or resolve technical tax issues.
• Assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess tax issues while providing findings to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Network with peers and participate in team-building and office community activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills, including project management and time management abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work additional hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Compensation: $40.00 per hour.
