Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern during the Winter 2027 term, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team, performing tax research, planning, and preparing supporting work papers for various projects and clients.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Network with peers and participate in office community activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Location: Los Angeles, California.
• Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Compensation: $40.00 per hour.
• Status: Full-time internship.
