Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for the Winter 2027 term, you will gain hands-on experience with tax procedures, including consulting, return preparation, and research. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as a core member of the engagement team. This role provides exposure to a variety of client engagements across multiple industries, allowing you to develop your professional skillset while building relationships within the firm.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by our firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
• Participate in team-building exercises and networking opportunities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and skillset.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.

• Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
• Work Modality: Hybrid (requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at a firm office or client site).
• Term: Winter 2027.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
