Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

As a Tax Intern for Winter 2027, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including consulting, return preparation, and tax planning. You will work directly with partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role provides opportunities to build professional relationships, participate in office community activities, and develop your leadership skills through hands-on project work.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in reviewing tax preparations completed by the firm's international team.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess tax issues while providing findings to senior staff.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Work on various client engagements across different industries.
• Participate in mentorship sessions, team-building exercises, and community outreach activities.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical aptitude with a demonstrated ability in project management, including planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
• Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
