About the role#
As a Tax Intern during the Winter 2027 term, you will gain exposure to core tax procedures, including consulting, research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as an active member of the engagement team. This full-time, paid internship provides opportunities to develop new technical skills, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong professional relationships.
- Work on a variety of client engagements across different industries.
- Network with peers, participate in team-building exercises, and meet with a mentor for professional development.
- Engage in community outreach and social events.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated ability in project management, including planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites on short notice.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
