Tax Intern - Winter 2027

About the role#

This internship provides exposure to core tax procedures, including tax consulting, research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various returns and projects. Interns work alongside Partners, Senior Executives, and peers as members of the engagement team. The role offers opportunities to learn new skillsets, participate in office community activities, and build professional relationships.

What you'll do#

• Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in the review of tax preparations completed by the firm in India.
• Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
• Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff members.
• Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong client relationships.
• Work on a variety of client engagements across different industries.
• Participate in team-building exercises, networking events, and professional development discussions with a mentor.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• A minimum major and overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
• Strong technical aptitude and a demonstrated project management skillset, including project planning and time management.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment.
• Willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
